New Year's Eve......Rockets!

New Years Eve was real low-key this year for us. We don't really like to be out-and-about on this night. Grandpa and Gran came over to watch the girls for us while we took Stephen & Landen to the Houston Rockets basketball game. It was Landen's first professional basketball game to ever attend. We all had a really great time since they won and it was a really close game. We got home about 9:30pm and brought in 2010 at home with our family on the couch watching the ball drop on TV, nice and warm.
I hope everyone has a fantastic 2010!

These are mobile phone pictures, so not the best quality!

Merry Christmas 2009

We had an absolutely wonderful Christmas this year. We have so much to be thankful for and it is wonderful to spend it with family. We started out attending the candle light service at Church on Christmas Eve to celebrate the birth of Jesus. The church had snow blown in for all the kids to play after the service which Landen and I really enjoyed throwing snowballs at each other. It turned out to be extremely cold with 30 mph winds that evening, so we couldn't stay out there too long. But so much fun!

Landen was so excited that he woke up at 5am, yes, 5am and wanted to start unwraping presents. Instead, he and I wrapped up in a blanket on the couch and I made him wait until 6am to get everyone up. Santa brought him a keyboard and a new bike this year. The girls really wasn't sure what was going on, but they were very excited to get to finally dig into some presents (and eat the paper) and sit in their new little poke-a-dot chairs. Thanks Santa CC! Bryant was with us Christmas morning also and was very excited to get a laundry basket full of single college life necessities (laundry detergent, toothpaste, floss, soap, toilet bowl cleaner, ketchup, pringles, pop tarts, cereal, etc.) That's when you know you are growing up!

Once again I have to say, we feel truely blessed!

Kinley & Kailyn's Church Dedication

We have finally found a fabulous church that we are so excited to be a part of, Community of Faith. We are a little overdo, but never too late to get the girls dedicated to the church. Gran & Grandpa came for the day to attend the dedication where the pastor prayed over us and each baby was given a little bible to keep.
Thank you Lord for enabeling us to raise your two beautiful little girls that you have blessed us with. We promise to raise them in a Christian home honoring your name. Amen

They weren't real interested in cooperating for pictures today, so you get what you can and move on:)

Stephen's 15th Birthday

Happy Birthday!!!
Stephen turned 15 today (Dec. 2nd, 2009), wow where has the years gone? In the last year, his looks have really changed dramatically! He is starting to mature some, but he's still 15........that teenage attitude and lopsided priority list still shines through at times. He is a wonderful young man, very helpful, caring, enjoys his sibling, uses manners, and is respectful to others. We absolutely love having him live with us:)
Happy Birthday Stephen!!!!

6:15am before school with his homemade blueberry muffins and candles!
His homemade special ordered carrot cake:) Mmmmmmmmm

Thanksgiving with many Blessings!

This Thanksgiving we spent counting our many blessings.

The holiday started out with the Thanksgiving Feast at Landen's school. Wayne and I went and ate lunch with him before checking him out and leaving town. He was so excited to have us join him and show us off to all his friends:)

It was great to see many family members and enjoy relaxing visits.
Here are the girls with Grandma and Grandpa Boone. Grandma gave them new baby dolls. What great memories!
Kailyn with Aunt Pam! Kinley with Aunt Vicki! And we even got to meet baby Tatum:)

On Friday after Thanksgiving, we were off to Lafayette to stay with our best friends......oh so fun!

Spoiled rotten by Grandmother!!!!!

We miss them so very much! Wish we still lived near Lafayette. Can you tell we were not wanting to say goodbye.

Family Pictures 2009

We finally had our first family photo session with all five of our precious kids. I was determined to send out Christmas cards this year! Bryant came in from college and stayed the night with us. We always love when he comes to visit. This photographer had her work cut out for her with so many in the pictures, but overall, I was very very pleased. As you can tell, I couldn't decide which pictures to post, so I put alot on here. I hope you enjoy them as much as we have. Wayne and I feel truely blessed to have our health as well as 5 health children. Here are the ages of our crew: Bryant 22, Stephen 15, Landen 7, and Kinley & Kailyn 12 months. I will just let you count our gray hair to estimate our ages.......lol:)

Happy Birthday Little Angels!

Well, we have all made it one year. What an incredible journey we have had so far. They started out so sweet and little and it is absolutely amazing how fast they grow the first year. On their actual birthday, we hosted a Birthday Playgroup at our house with all our "twin friends"! They had so much fun! There were 5 other sets of twins that attended. Gran & Grandpa came for the day to help us out:) Two of my very dear friends gave the girls tutu's that were perfect for the occasion.

Growth updated:
Kinley Renee: weighs 22 lbs, 29.5 inches long and is in the 50-75% size range
Kailyn Grace: weighs 22.9 lbs, 29.5 inches long and is in the 75-90% size range

Milestones:
Both girls are speed crawlers (in different directions most of the time) and are even taking steps everytime they pull up. Each one has taken up to 10 steps before falling. We are so proud and anxious for them to become full time walkers. Momma's back is starting to hurt!
They both say about 6 word: Momma, Dada, Bubba, Hi, ByeBye, and UaOh and they will mock anything that you do.

We are so very proud of them, thanks for letting us share their successes with you!
