Finally sitting up by Ourselves!!!!
At 7 1/2 months old (June 28th), the girls have finally decided it was time to start seeing the world on their booties! They are sitting up for long periods of time before falling over. We all cheered for their accomplishment. It was an exciting day because I have been really working with them for at least a month now. I am so proud:)

7 Months old and lovin' Gran & Grandpa
The girls are 7 months old and they love spending time with
Gran and Grandpa. When we go for visits, they completely spoil the kids. Maybe that's why all the kids love going to visit. We are still working on sitting up. They are very mobile rolling all over the floor and playing with all their toys. Their smiles will just melt your heart, as they do Gran and Grandpa's!

We love our sisters!
Stephen and Landen say, they don't know what they did without their sisters. They constantly play with them in between naps. I feel so lucky that my 6 year old has never expressed jealousy or regressed in any area. Six years must be a good seperation for that.
And I am still amazed at my 14 year old. The interest he shows in them is astounding. He will even babysit for short periods and has even changed poop diapers! It has been funny though, he has been initiated by both of them with leaking poop diapers and spit-up on quite a few times. hehe The boys have both made bottles and know the drills on everything we do with the girls. They are also HUGE helpers when we are out and about.
Once again, I have to say that I am truely BLESSED to have all these beautiful and special children.

Rewind to 6 Months old
Well, time is just flying! I can't seem to catch up since summer has begun. A month has already gone by since I have updated this blog. So here is a little rewind over the past month. Kailyn and Kinley are growing leaps and bounds.
At their 6 month well check:
Kinley weighed 16 lbs 10 oz
Kailyn weighed 17 lbs 3 oz.
We have tried all the different vegetables, green beans, peas, squash, carrots, sweet potatoes and finally prunes! They don't seem to be picky eaters as of yet and we haven't discovered any allergies so far.
They are constantly filling our hearts with joy with their endless smiles everyday. We feel so blessed to get to enjoy double the smiles and double the love from them.
Kinley is rolling over all the time. Kailyn has been a little more creative and has discovered a special scoot on her back that we call the floudering fish. She can get across the room in no time! We are having so much fun!

1st Trip to the Pool
Spoiled Rotten!
The twins loved all the attention that Katie Beth, Julian & Aunt Christi gave them during their visit. Aunt Christi called the girls "baby hogs" because they were always wanting to hold the twins. They were the best babysitters while we were out-and-about.
Happy Mother's Day
Can you believe it.......I am "Mother of the Year"
Thanks Hayley for the nomination!

I feel truely blessed to have been chosen to raise 4 of God's children. This has been an amazing and wonderful journey up to this point and I'm sure the days ahead will be even more adventurous when the twins become mobile. Their personalities are really starting to develop and shine. They absolutely LOVE their two brothers. Their laughter "out loud" warms my heart everyday. I am truely blessed to have 4 happy and healthy children. I wouldn't change my life for the world right now. I am a very proud momma and take comfort in knowing that this is where I am supposed to be. ;)

T-trude & Henry's visit
Our old and dear friend Trudy came all the way from Houma Louisiana to see the girls. We met her when Wayne and I first got married, 10 years ago, and lived in Thibodaux. Thanks Henry for bringing Trudy to see us!
Landen's Baseball Game
Landen plays baseball for Cy-Fair Sports and is on the Tx Barracudas team. He has played with the same kids for over a year now. We are so proud of him, he is such a great little baseball player. I absolutely love watching him play. I look forward to all the games and am a very loud cheering Mom! :)

Instead of sliding low, Landen does some kind of hop before he slides and Stephen caught him in action!

5 Months - April
Kinley & Kailyn are growing so fast and such a joy to be around. They are the best babies, smiling all the time and laughing out loud (play video below). They are 16lbs now and starting to roll over. They grab everything that comes in their reach. I have lost alot of hair! Landen is playing Coach-pitch baseball and his team is doing extremely well. We are just waiting for him to hit a ball out of the park! Stephen is enjoying his new friends and texting all the time. It's crazy how much they text!
Chilled out after Landen's baseball game!
This was our first time to swing at the park.

This is Kinley & Kailyn belly laughing at Landen and Stephen. So fun to hear!
